Final report

General information about City of Stockholm

A lot of exciting events have taken place since the European Commission nominated Stockholm as the European Green Capital 2010.

The Commission's motivation for the award was the city's long-term and successful work with sustainable development, and its ambitious future targets.

Our final report contains efforts aimed at increasing cooperation, and sharing knowledge and experiences between the cities of Europe. We have also included the promotion of good practice models in the areas of climate and environment.

We now look ahead and continue our efforts for a sustainable development, with the ambition to reamin a green capital and a role model for other cities around the world.

The final report from the European Green Capital project is found below.
