Workshop on integration of newly arrived migrants in cities
27 nov 2018On 21-22 November, the City of Stockholm and the OECD arranged an international technical workshop in Stockholm. The theme of the meeting was Working Together for Migrant Integration in Cities: How can cities address the short and long-term challenges and leverage opportunities to integrate migrants.

Stockholm signs C40 Net Zero Buildings agreement
24 aug 2018Buildings in urban areas are one of the largest sources of greenhouse gas emissions, and typically account for over half of a total city’s emissions on average. Together with 19 other cities, Stockholm has now signed an agreement committed to significantly cut greenhouse gas emissions by ensuring that new buildings operate at net zero carbon by year 2030.
