Visit the City Hall

The City Hall of Stockholm can only be visited with a guided tour. There are two options, either by a public tour or a private tour. Groups consisting of more than 10 people must book a private tour. Indivdual visitors can join a public tour or book a private one if they wish.

Public tours

Since Stockholm City Hall is a political office building, visitors cannot walk alone in the halls. Instead visitors are welcome to join public tours. The public tours aim for individual visitors, groups of more than 10 people must book a tour, see "Group visits".

Tickets cannot be pre-booked or purchased online but they are bought in the ticket office the same day as the visit. Please scroll down to see exceptions to the schedule. The City Hall has more visitors in the morning, so plan your visit in the afternoon if you have the possibility.

Please note that due to the large number of events in the City Hall, tours can be cancelled.
